10031308The Vacuum Filtration Kit by Steinberg Systems is ideal for removing even the smallest particles from a solution in the laboratory using a vacuum and an appropriate filter cartridge (not included). It is suitable for microbiology or particle analysis, as well as for filtering alkaline and aggressive solutions. The base of the laboratory filter consists of a suction nozzle with a connection for hoses with an internal diameter of 6 mm and an external diameter of 11 mm. The vessel is made of heat-resistant Pyrex Boro 3.3 glass and has a capacity of
2000 ml, which allows you to easily filter even large samples. An aluminum clamp holds the 300ml funnel cap and funnel base together. Both elements are connected via
connection 40/38 above the suction nozzle. Both containers are equipped with a clear scale, making it easy to check the amount of filtered liquids at any time. The low center of gravity of the suction nozzle ensures optimal stability of the filter set. The funnel cap is designed for filters with a diameter of 50 to 60 mm, allowing you to achieve optimal results. The individual elements are of high quality and at the same time easy to install. They are the basis for obtaining accurate and repeatable results without DNA, RNA and pyrogen-free, needed, for example, in microbiology.
