Its thickness makes it ideal for filleting fish, cutting fish spines, removing fin cartilage, or slicing delicate seafood. The Deba knife can also be used to prepare poultry or other types of meat with small bones and tendons. The blade is made of Japanese SUS 420J2 stainless steel and the handle is made of poplar wood.
